Scott Brown Explains How Packed Schedule Can Benefit Celtic

Former Celtic captain Scott Brown believes the club's upcoming congested fixture schedule could work in their favor despite recent struggles. Celtic currently sit two points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, but back-to-back derby defeats against Rangers and a loss in the Europa League have increased pressure on 74-year-old manager Martin O'Neill.

Brown noted that Celtic will frequently play on Sundays following Thursday European fixtures while Rangers play on Saturdays. Although Rangers could temporarily take the lead in games in hand, Brown explained that any slip-ups by Rangers would give Celtic a psychological opportunity to extend their advantage.
