Charlie Stramel and David Spacek earned the chance to stick with Minnesota's NHL roster for now.

The Minnesota Wild reduced their training camp roster by 16 players on Thursday, leaving Charlie Stramel and David Spacek as the only non-lock hopefuls remaining. Eight players, including Carson Lambos and Mason Shaw, were placed on waivers, while seven others were reassigned to AHL Iowa, and Kayden Lemire was returned to the WHL. Head coach John Hynes is finalizing his lineup ahead of the upcoming season opener in Nashville.
With most veterans set to feature in Friday's preseason finale, the Wild are evaluating line combinations, particularly at center between Kirill Kaprizov and Max Shabanov. Prospect Danila Yurov centered the duo in recent practices, while Ryan Hartman and Bobby Brink also remain options for key forward roles as the team determines its final opening-night roster configuration.
