Once a star quarterback for the school, Medley returned to his alma mater to coach up the next generation of student-athletes in more than just football.
Aleem Medley, head coach of the Benjamin Franklin High School Electrons, has been named the second Philadelphia Eagles High School Coach of the Week for the 2026 tackle football season. Medley, who previously starred as a quarterback at the school before attending Millersville University, returned to take over the program as head coach in 2023.
In addition to coaching football, Medley serves as a physical education and health teacher at Benjamin Franklin High School. He emphasizes discipline, education, and personal development for his student-athletes while representing PIAA District 12.
