Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner addressed a television graphic shown during an overtime loss against the Kansas City Chiefs highlighting his prolonged winless streak in the United States. Gardner had not won an NFL game on American soil since December 15, 2024, spanning 644 days. The cornerback noted that teammate Justin Walley initially pointed out the broadcast statistic to him, stating he is now accustomed to negative media narratives.
Gardner was acquired by Indianapolis from the New York Jets in exchange for two first-round draft picks and wide receiver AD Mitchell. Since joining the Colts, Gardner holds a 1-3 record, with his sole victory occurring against the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin, leaving him with only three wins across his last 25 NFL appearances.
