Washington Wizards center Alex Sarr continues to be slept on nationally, so he has plenty of people to prove wrong despite his improvement last season.
ESPN has released its annual ranking of the top 100 NBA players for the 2026-27 season, omitting Washington Wizards big man Alex Sarr. Washington's 2026 No. 1 overall pick, AJ Dybantsa, was ranked at No. 78 on the list, while Sarr and third-year teammate Kyshawn George were excluded.
Sarr was selected second overall in 2024 and showed statistical improvements across scoring, shooting percentages, rebounding, assists, and blocks during his second season. The upcoming season will also feature four-time All-Star guard Trae Young playing alongside Sarr in Washington.
