Every postseason the White Sox have participated in

The Chicago White Sox clinched their 12th postseason berth in franchise history following a 9-1 road victory against the Kansas City Royals on Thursday. The win secured at least the third American League wild-card spot and the sixth playoff seed, while leaving the AL Central Division title still in contention.

The qualification marks the first time in MLB history that a club reached the playoffs after consecutive seasons of 100 or more losses. This year also marks only the fourth time in history that both the White Sox and the Chicago Cubs will feature in the postseason concurrently.
