Celtic legend Peter Grant has expressed his full backing for manager Martin O'Neill despite growing pressure from supporters. The 74-year-old manager stated he would consider his future during the international break following an exit from both the Champions League and Premier Sports Cup, alongside consecutive defeats to Rangers.

Grant noted that Celtic still sit at the top of the league table and expressed hope that a brief break will allow O'Neill to reset. He also referenced O'Neill's hospital spell earlier in the summer as a factor that may have taken a physical toll.
