Walker | ‘It’s looking positive for the future of our players’

Richard Walker has officially expressed his excitement about stepping up as the permanent head coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers under-21s. Walker assumed the position during the summer following the departure of James Collins, bringing 16 years of coaching experience that includes three seasons managing Wolves' under-18 squad.

The former Crewe Alexandra and Port Vale defender previously coached at Stoke City, serving as caretaker manager on three occasions. Walker noted that his prior work with the current group of academy prospects will aid their ongoing development toward senior football.
