Burnley manager Nicky Hayen expects to receive a significant injury boost following the international break, as several sidelined players near full fitness. The Clarets faced Derby County in a 1-1 draw while missing up to 15 players, including both injured personnel and individuals omitted from the squad list.

Winger Jaydon Banel returned to training and is set to contend for a spot against Watford on October 10. Hayen also confirmed that Josh Cullen and Dastan Satpayev are closing in on returns, while Jacob Bruun Larsen recently overcame a heel injury.
