Highly touted prospects, veteran mix leads Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate to title

The Los Angeles Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate, the Oklahoma City Comets, secured the Pacific Coast League championship with a 5-2 victory over Las Vegas at Las Vegas Ballpark. Oklahoma City won the final two games of the series after dropping the opener to earn its fourth PCL title and first since 2023. The victory capped an 89-win regular season, which marks the third-highest win total in franchise history dating back to 1962.

The roster received recent boosts from top Dodgers prospects Josue De Paula and Mike Sirota, who made their Triple-A debuts in the final week. Meanwhile, first baseman and outfielder James Tibbs III served as an anchor throughout the campaign, hitting 30 home runs and driving in 107 runs while leading the league in total bases, walks, and extra-base hits.
