Ibrox View: Rangers new signing won’t be happy with McInnes after surprise snub last night

Rangers midfielder Vanja Dragojevic was left as an unused substitute by Serbia manager Veljko Paunovic in a 2-1 UEFA Nations League loss to Greece. The 20-year-old joined Rangers from Partizan Belgrade in a deal worth over £4 million earlier in the summer but has faced limited playing time under manager Derek McInnes.

Dragojevic has made seven appearances across all competitions this season, with only one coming in the Scottish Premiership. McInnes has preferred midfielders Nicolas Raskin, Dan Neil, and Cammy Devlin, while Dragojevic's underwhelming underlying performance metrics in European fixtures have contributed to his lack of regular minutes.
