Everton owners withdrew from talks over Nottingham Forest's bid for Harrison Armstrong following fan protests

Former Everton manager Sean Dyche offered his perspective on Nottingham Forest's recent bid to sign midfielder Harrison Armstrong on a permanent transfer. Everton owners The Friedkin Group previously halted negotiations regarding the proposed transfer following backlash and protests from supporters during an away match at Bournemouth.
Dyche suggested Everton may have initially considered the sale because offloading academy graduates provides a notable boost for Premier League Profit and Sustainability Regulations. The 19-year-old midfielder has started regularly under current manager David Moyes amid injuries to Christian Norgaard, James Garner, and Merlin Rohl.
