Williams’ experience ‘incredible’ for Eastleigh – Gray

National League side Eastleigh has signed former Wales international Jonny Williams on a free transfer for the rest of the season. Manager Matt Gray stated that the 32-year-old midfielder's availability as a free agent played into the club's hands following recent injuries within the squad.

Williams previously played in the Premier League for Crystal Palace and spent last season with Gillingham before leaving at the end of the campaign. The midfielder represented Wales at three major tournaments, including appearances during their Euro 2016 campaign, and now joins a Spitfires squad challenging for the play-off places.
