Blake Treinen Injures Shoulder, Out For Postseason

Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Blake Treinen is out for the remainder of the season and the postseason after suffering a shoulder injury while warming up in the bullpen. Manager Dave Roberts confirmed that Treinen will undergo imaging and be placed on the injured list, ending the veteran reliever's 2026 campaign.

The injury concludes Treinen's two-year, $22 million contract with Los Angeles. The 38-year-old posted a 3.64 ERA across 36 appearances this season after previously missing time due to elbow inflammation. The Dodgers plan to rely on a pitching staff that features Blake Snell, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and closer Tanner Scott for their playoff run.
