The New Jersey Devils have produced strong offensive metrics following the conclusion of their preseason schedule under Sunny Mehta. The team generated 41 high-danger chances and scored six high-danger goals at 5-on-5, tying for the league lead in the latter category.
New Jersey also recorded 180 total chances at 5-on-5, ranking second across the NHL behind the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Devils outscored opponents 12-7 across all game situations while maintaining a shooting percentage below 12 percent.
