Lamine Yamal says he doesn’t play football for the money and only players for the sheer joy of the game and the fact that he loves it. The Barcelona star is still only 19 but is already known as one…

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal stated in an interview with The Guardian that his motivation comes from a genuine love for football rather than money. The 19-year-old Spain international explained that he prioritizes entertaining supporters, having fun, and creating opportunities for teammates over obsessing over personal statistics like goals and assists.
Yamal described the sensation of having fans anticipate his actions at the Camp Nou and during the World Cup as feeling like a superhero. He noted that the surge of excitement and expectation from crowds gives him a powerful feeling on the pitch, comparing it to feeling like Superman or Spiderman.
