Daxon Rudolph reveals the big shift coming to his game at Denver

Buffalo Sabres prospect Daxon Rudolph outlined the specific improvements he is focusing on as he prepares for the upcoming college hockey season at the University of Denver. Rudolph was selected fourth overall by the Sabres in the first round of the 2026 NHL Draft after Buffalo traded up to secure a top-five selection.

In an interview with Marco D'Amico of RG.org, the defenseman stated he is emphasizing rush defense, zone exits, and offensive blue-line habits to reduce time spent in his defensive zone. Rudolph heads to Denver following a WHL campaign with the Prince Albert Raiders, where he tallied 78 points in 68 games.
