Brandon Thomas-Asante gives back to Ghana grassroots with help of Coventry City teammate

Coventry City striker Brandon Thomas-Asante delivered two bags of donated football boots and yoga mats from teammate Milan van Ewijk to his former coach in Ghana. Thomas-Asante, who is currently on international duty with the Black Stars, presented the gear to his former amateur coach, Eric Asante, to support young grassroots players.

The footwear and equipment were donated to Covenant FC, a grassroots club located in Dansoman, Accra. Thomas-Asante credited coach Eric Asante with aiding his early career development prior to turning professional, as the forward prepares for upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Gambia and Morocco.
