Brooklyn Nets host Media Day 2026, share optimism, some of it ‘delusional’

The Brooklyn Nets opened their 2026 Media Day at the HSS Training Center, where general manager Sean Marks and head coach Jordi Fernández addressed reporters. Marks provided injury updates on several young players, noting that Mikel Brown Jr. rolled his ankle and Nolan Traoré is recovering from a summer knee scope. Both players will ramp up during training camp, while forward Grant Nelson is cleared as a full participant following minor knee issues.
