The Brooklyn Nets and Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment announced a strategic multi-year partnership with Alibaba ahead of Media Day. As part of the agreement, the Chinese e-commerce giant will serve as the team's jersey patch sponsor, featuring its name opposite the Nike logo on the jersey. Both the Brooklyn Nets and Alibaba are headed by Joe Tsai.
Beyond the jersey patch, Alibaba was designated an Official Technology and Cloud Partner of the franchise. Alibaba's cloud technology will integrate with the Nets' live game replay, in-game entertainment, and marketing initiatives to deliver immersive fan experiences at Barclays Center during the team's 60th anniversary campaign.
