Expert View: Rangers new signing could plug gap in the market in Premier League

Rangers winger Minsu Kim could eventually attract interest from the Premier League, according to Asian football expert John Duerden. The 20-year-old South Korea international joined the Scottish Premiership club in the summer from Girona in an £8.5 million permanent transfer and is contracted until 2030, with a club option for an additional year.

Duerden told the Rangers Review that South Korean supporters are eager for a new domestic star to emerge in the English top flight. Kim has made six appearances under manager Derek McInnes so far, including a missed penalty during a 1-0 victory over Motherwell on September 5.
