Rangers could consider selling midfielder Nicolas Raskin in the January transfer window to finance a move for Bologna star Lewis Ferguson. Raskin drew interest from several European sides in the summer, including a concrete proposal from Besiktas, but chose to remain under manager Derek McInnes as Rangers pursue the Scottish Premiership title race.
Journalist Keith Jackson suggested that a substantial permanent transfer bid for Raskin could fund a pursuit of Ferguson, who recently confirmed his ongoing ambition to play for Rangers. Bologna sporting director Marco Di Vaio previously praised the Scottish midfielder, who is seen as a potential long-term target for the Ibrox club.
