Genao, Velazquez land on Prospect Team of the Year

MLB Pipeline announced the 2026 All-MiLB Prospect First and Second Teams, honoring the top minor-league performers across each position based on age, level, and overall production. Across both teams, 15 Major League Baseball organizations were represented. The Los Angeles Dodgers led all clubs with four selections, followed by the St. Louis Cardinals with three, while the Cleveland Guardians, Miami Marlins, Baltimore Orioles, and Tampa Bay Rays each earned two selections.

The First Team selections included Cardinals catcher Rainiel Rodriguez and Blue Jays first baseman Sean Keys. The 19-year-old Rodriguez hit 27 home runs while batting .324 across High-A and Double-A, leading Double-A with a .999 OPS. Keys hit 28 home runs across Double-A and Triple-A before earning his MLB debut, leading Toronto's farm system in home runs and OPS.
