Nine in action so far – the latest from Town’s international players during the break

Nine of Ipswich Town's 10 international players have featured in matches during the early stages of an extended international break. Sasa Lukic made two appearances for Serbia in Nations League A, featuring as a substitute in a defeat against Greece and starting against the Netherlands. During the Dutch match, Lukic assisted Luka Jovic's goal and received a caution for a tackle that injured Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo, with Serbia ultimately losing 2-1.

Elsewhere, defender Dara O'Shea played for the Republic of Ireland in Nations League B fixtures under manager Heimir Hallgrimsson. Ireland suffered a 1-0 defeat to Kosovo following a goal by Vedat Muriqi before rebounding with a 3-0 victory over Israel courtesy of goals from Troy Parrott, Adam Idah, and Jack Moylan. Midfielder Marcelino Nunez also started in a friendly loss to Canada.
