Liverpool fan, 26, killed in Florida ‘hit-and-run’ incident

Brandon Grimes, a 26-year-old Liverpool supporter and FA referee from Seaham, County Durham, died following a hit-and-run incident in Florida on Friday, September 25. Grimes was on vacation in the United States when a vehicle struck him and fled the scene. His family and partner are currently raising funds to repatriate his body to the United Kingdom.

His partner, David Jackson, expressed frustration over the lack of information provided by American authorities regarding the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident. Grimes, who was traveling with a friend named Tom, had attempted to call Jackson shortly before his death.
