Ralf Schumacher criticized former Red Bull team principal Christian Horner for publicly calling Ferrari "the dream" during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend. Speaking to Sky Sports Germany, Schumacher labeled Horner's public comments embarrassing and a disgrace, arguing that a serious approach to Ferrari would not be conducted in such a manner.
Horner's remarks arrived amid pressure on Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur following an on-track clash between Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc at the Italian Grand Prix. Although Ferrari issued a statement supporting Vasseur, Schumacher suggested former McLaren boss Andreas Seidl would be an ideal replacement if a leadership change occurs.
