Saints Women boss Parker hails Jupp after scoring first senior goal

Southampton FC Women manager Simon Parker praised forward Freya Jupp after she scored her first senior goal in a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest at St Mary's. The 22-year-old beat two defenders to score the opening goal, helping Saints maintain an unbeaten start to their WSL2 league campaign.

Jupp originally progressed through the Saints academy before joining Arsenal and later spending time in the United States prior to returning to the club this summer. Despite remaining undefeated four games into the season, Parker expressed disappointment with the conceded goal as Saints recorded their third consecutive draw.
