Marlins Notes: McCullough, Nardi, Marsee, Zuber

Miami Marlins president of baseball operations Peter Bendix confirmed at the end-of-season press conference that manager Clayton McCullough will return for the 2027 season. McCullough guided the team to an 80-82 record in 2026, marking steady progress during his first two seasons. Bendix also provided medical updates on multiple players, noting that reliever Andrew Nardi will miss most or all of next season following elbow surgery.

Additional updates revealed that pitcher Tyler Zuber and outfielder Jakob Marsee will both be examined by Dr. Keith Meister due to elbow soreness. William Kempner will also miss most of next season after UCL surgery, while Adam Mazur and Robby Snelling continue rehab progression. Meanwhile, Max Meyer, Owen Caissie, Ronny Henriquez, and Anthony Bender are anticipated to be ready for Spring Training.
