Tottenham Hotspur will receive a share of UEFA’s £27 million Nations League payout for releasing players on international duty.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to receive a share of a €31.5 million (£27 million) payout from UEFA for releasing players for international duty during the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League. The payment is part of the updated UEFA Club Benefits Programme, which compensates 611 clubs across Europe at a rate of €3,845 (£3,294) per eligible player appearance on a match sheet.
The distribution provides a financial boost for Spurs under head coach Roberto De Zerbi, following international appearances by squad members including Sandro Tonali, Lucas Bergvall, and Omar Marmoush. Overall, UEFA will distribute €244 million (£209 million) to clubs across the full cycle leading into UEFA Euro 2028.
