Warrington Wolves captain George Williams is aiming to conclude his time with the club by securing their first Super League Grand Final victory. Warrington will face Wakefield Trinity at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 3, in what will be Williams' final appearance for the club before his planned return to Australia's NRL.
Both finalists advanced after upsetting the top two seeds, with Wakefield earning their spot via a 33-6 victory against Wigan. Williams previously won the Grand Final with Wigan and highlighted the importance of claiming a maiden title for Warrington, warning that his side must be at their best against an in-form Wakefield.
