St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his right knee and will be re-evaluated in six weeks. The team had initially placed Tucker on injured reserve alongside defenseman Logan Mailloux after Tucker tweaked his knee during a practice session.
Tucker recorded 17 points, 81 penalty minutes, and 100 hits in 69 games last season as a regular on the Blues' blue line. With Tucker and Mailloux sidelined, young defenseman Theo Lindstein is set to make the opening-night roster, while St. Louis also claimed Justin Barron off waivers and recalled Adam Jiricek from the AHL.
