The Ducks received some good news on the injury front today, plus injury updates on Logan O'Connor, Zachary L'Heureux, and Ryan McAllister.

Anaheim Ducks winger A.J. Greer practiced in a full-contact jersey following an upper-body injury, boosting his chances for Friday's season opener. In other Western Conference news, Colorado Avalanche forwards Logan O'Connor and Zachary L'Heureux remain sidelined with lower-body injuries, while forward Ryan McAllister was released from his AHL professional tryout by the Abbotsford Canucks.
Greer joined Anaheim this offseason on a four-year, $17 million contract after being acquired in a trade with Florida. Meanwhile, Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar confirmed Colorado will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen against the Los Angeles Kings. McAllister, a former top NCAA free agent, is now seeking a new professional opportunity.
