The Seattle Seahawks have released veteran safety D’Anthony Bell from their practice squad as part of a series of roster moves. The transaction also included releasing wide receiver Julian Hicks, signing linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo, and converting wide receiver Malick Meiga to a full practice-squad position.
Viral Sports News notes the move comes as a surprise given Seattle's ongoing injuries at safety, with Julian Love and Ty Okada currently sidelined. Bell appeared in 14 games with two starts for Seattle in 2025 and is now eligible to sign immediately with another team as a vested veteran.
