William Karlsson isn’t going anywhere, as the Golden Knights have signed one of their last Original Misfits to a two-year extension worth $6.75 million annually.
The Vegas Golden Knights have signed veteran center William Karlsson to a two-year contract extension worth $6.75 million annually. The new agreement keeps the 33-year-old under contract through the 2028-29 season, preventing him from reaching unrestricted free agency at the end of his prior eight-year deal.
Karlsson was originally selected by Vegas in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft and helped lead the team to a Stanley Cup championship. Across 570 regular-season appearances with the franchise, he has recorded 191 goals and 238 assists.
