“Bronny is outperforming him?”, “Pull the trigger” – NBA Fans Baffled As Lakers Mull Over Dalton Knecht Waive

NBA fans expressed surprise on social media following reports that the LA Lakers could waive Dalton Knecht if a trade is not found. According to NBA insider Evan Sidery, Knecht has fallen behind Bronny James and Jaden Hardy in the team's training camp competition for final roster spots after his playing time dropped to 10.2 minutes per game.

In addition to potentially waiving Knecht, the Lakers could explore trade options for Chicago Bulls big man Zach Collins, according to Heavy Sports' Sai Mohan. Mohan noted that Collins could provide needed depth at center following prior injury issues with the team's frontcourt rotation.
