September was a very kind month to the Kansas City Chiefs, who went 3-0 and had two players rake in monthly NFL honors.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker and offensive lineman Kahlil Benson have earned NFL monthly honors for September. Walker received the AFC Offensive Player of the Month award after leading the league with 360 rushing yards and breaking 41 tackles across a 3-0 start. Meanwhile, Benson claimed NFL Rookie of the Month accolades.
Benson, an undrafted rookie out of Indiana, filled in at left tackle for the injured Josh Simmons and allowed only six pressures in three games. The Chiefs look to sustain their strong form in an upcoming AFC West showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders.
