The Aberdeen and Manchester United legend recalled the terrifying incident which left him unable to talk with members of his family following the emergency surgery.

Sir Alex Ferguson has recalled the frightening experience of losing his voice following a brain hemorrhage and emergency surgery in 2018. Speaking to BBC Breakfast to promote his book 'Games of My Life', the 84-year-old former manager revealed that therapy exercises, such as writing down lists of animals and rivers, eventually helped him regain his speech.
Ferguson also reflected on feeling terrified during his emotional return to Old Trafford alongside his late wife, Cathy, four months after the operation. Now approaching his 85th birthday, the legendary former Aberdeen and Manchester United manager confirmed he is in good health despite minor issues.
