Southampton icon Matt Le Tissier hailed striker Cyle Larin's contributions as the Canadian tops the Championship scoring charts.
Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier praised striker Cyle Larin, calling his permanent signing from RCD Mallorca in the summer a massive positive for the club. Larin has scored eight goals across all competitions so far this season to lead the Championship scoring charts, following a productive loan spell during the second half of the previous campaign.
Le Tissier highlighted Larin's physical presence and all-around ability, comparing one of the Canadian forward's goals against Millwall to his own playing days. Head coach Tonda Eckert's side has navigated a four-point deduction related to a spying controversy while awaiting a final FA verdict, despite maintaining a perfect home league record.
