The former Manchester United forward may have shut up some of his doubters, having struggled since leaving the club and joining Aston Villa in the summer
Alejandro Garnacho responded to critics and declared he is "ready now" after scoring two goals in Aston Villa's international break friendlies. The forward, who arrived at Villa in the summer, had previously played just 31 minutes this season and sat out recent Premier League matches as an unused substitute.
Garnacho scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Southampton and added another goal in a 3-1 win against Sevilla. Villa manager Unai Emery had recently urged the former Manchester United player to be patient, noting he must continue working to earn his place ahead of competing teammates.
