Man United sold academy graduate Toby Collyer in the summer transfer window, with the midfielder signing for West Brom.

Former Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer is settling into life at West Bromwich Albion after completing a permanent summer transfer. The 22-year-old made his debut starting against QPR and appeared as a substitute against Wolves. Collyer described returning to the Hawthorns as a "no-brainer" for his development, noting that a permanent move provides greater psychological security than temporary loan spells.
Manchester United agreed to an initial £3 million fee that could rise to £7.6 million with add-ons, alongside a 40 percent sell-on clause. Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic also sought to sign Collyer following a prior loan stint, but Collyer opted for West Brom after Michael Carrick advised him that a departure would secure more first-team playing time.
