Jonathan Nsangou, 16, scored a late equaliser for Everton to secure a 3-3 draw in their behind closed doors friendly against Blackburn Rovers at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Sixteen-year-old winger Jonathan Nsangou scored a late equalizer to earn Everton a 3-3 draw against Blackburn Rovers in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Hill Dickinson Stadium. With manager David Moyes missing 11 first-team players due to international duty, Nsangou capitalized on the opportunity by finishing calmly from a Jack Grealish pass. Everton had earlier taken a 2-0 lead before Blackburn responded with three second-half goals.
Born in Poland to a Polish mother and Cameroonian father, Nsangou previously represented Poland at Under-15 level before earning caps for England Under-16s. The right-winger has scored 10 goals in the Under-18 Premier League and made his Under-21 debut against Aston Villa. At 16 years and 260 days, he was younger when scoring than former Everton record-holder James Vaughan was on his debut goal.
