The Seattle Seahawks placed rookie running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve on Saturday due to a chest injury. Price had previously been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, and the roster move guarantees he will miss at least the next four games. According to head coach Mike Macdonald, Price initially suffered the injury in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals and aggravated it during Wednesday's practice.
A first-round draft pick out of Notre Dame, Price recorded 28 carries for 119 yards and four receptions across his first three games. In his absence, Emanuel Wilson and George Holani are expected to take on expanded roles in the Seahawks' backfield, while running back Zach Charbonnet remains eligible to return from an ACL tear in Week 5.
