FINAL SEASON GRADES – THE OUTFIELD

Holly Horning of Totally Tigers has asked readers to evaluate and assign final 2026 season grades to Detroit Tigers outfielders. The evaluation asks fans to assess full-season performance, positional versatility, roster roles, and official offensive and defensive metrics. Only players who logged reasonable playing time without missing the majority of the season on the injured list are included.

Horning provided defensive runs saved totals across the roster, highlighting Zach McKinstry and Dillon Dingler as the top defensive performers at +15. At the bottom of the defensive rankings, Riley Greene recorded a team-low mark of -11 DRS, while Kerry Carpenter posted -5.
