Speaking after Friday's practice, Oubre acknowledged that adapting to Indiana's quick-moving, unselfish style of play is an ongoing learning process, but said he thrives in a system centered around rapid decision-making.
Beyond on-court fit, the 30-year-old explained that Indiana offers the right personal setting for his family to settle down. Pacers center Jay Huff also praised Oubre's arrival, highlighting his perimeter shooting, ability to attack the rim, and playmaking for teammates.
