Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell will be available for Sunday’s AFC West first-place showdown despite missing the last two weeks of practice.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell has returned to the team and will be available for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium. O'Connell missed the past two weeks of practice while mourning the death of his father in Illinois. Although previously listed as questionable, the team removed the designation ahead of the contest.
Head coach Klint Kubiak expressed confidence in O'Connell suiting up despite the lack of recent practice time. Expected to serve as the emergency quarterback, O'Connell enters the matchup as both the Raiders and Chiefs sit at 3-0 to contest sole possession of first place in the AFC West.
