The Los Angeles Dodgers will start left-hander Blake Snell in Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday. Snell follows fellow southpaw Tarik Skubal, who led Los Angeles to a 5-3 victory in Game 1. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed the decision, which aligns right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto to start Game 3 on Tuesday in Atlanta.
Snell posted a 4-1 record and a 1.90 ERA across nine starts during an injury-shortened regular season. Meanwhile, Braves manager Walt Weiss stated Atlanta has not officially decided on a Game 2 starter, though left-hander Chris Sale remains under consideration.
