Wang Cong explained that eye pokes hindered her vision during her UFC 332 women's flyweight title fight loss against Natalia Silva. Cong dropped a five-round decision to Silva in Saturday night's main event clash. Following the bout, UFC CEO Dana White suggested that Cong would likely regret not pressing the action sooner and would hate herself once she reviewed the footage.
In a translated video message on Instagram, Cong addressed her tentative approach, stating that her vision was compromised after she was poked in the eye. While all three judges scored the bout for Silva, who swept the early rounds, Cong managed to unanimously win round five despite the defeat.
