Sheffield Wednesday are flying under Henrik Pedersen this season, but that has not stopped some managerial talk emerging.

Free agent manager Dave Challinor is targeting a move to the Championship or the Sheffield Wednesday job, according to Alan Nixon via his Patreon. The 51-year-old left Stockport County in the summer and has reportedly rejected interest from other League One clubs while awaiting his next opportunity, despite Bradford City previously sounding him out.
A key factor linking Challinor with Sheffield Wednesday is his strong past relationship with current sporting director Simon Wilson, with whom he worked for five years at Stockport County. However, writer Charlie Hodgson argues that Sheffield Wednesday should ignore the noise and retain current manager Henrik Pedersen, who has guided the club to a strong start in League One.
