Newcastle United loanee Antonio Cordero scored two goals to lead Cádiz to a 4-0 victory over Leganés on Saturday. The 19-year-old winger struck the first and third goals, helping Albert Celades' side end a seven-match winless start to their league campaign. Teammates Vladyslav Kopotun and Aïmen Moueffek also found the net in the decisive home win.
Cordero rejoined Cádiz on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2026 after previously scoring three goals in 21 appearances during a temporary spell there last season. The teenager originally signed with Newcastle from Málaga in 2025 following a loan stint at Belgian club KVC Westerlo.
