Brooklyn Nets player Egor Dëmin is focusing on utilizing his improved strength and versatility ahead of the upcoming season. After playing primarily off the ball as a catch-and-shoot option last year, Dëmin aims to return to having the ball in his hands, driving into the paint, creating plays for teammates, and taking on challenging defensive assignments against top opposing players.
Teammate Michael Porter Jr. noted that Dëmin has physically matured enough to handle point guard duties without being disrupted by defensive pressure. Head coach Jordi Fernandez's offense is expected to benefit from multiple playmakers, with Dëmin joining Michael Porter Jr., Julius Randle, and rookie Mikel Brown Jr. to distribute the ball and push a fast-paced transition offense.
